There are several companies and depending on when you want to rent your prius, you can get them quite competitively. For five days I can get a midsize for $105 and they want nearly $400 for the Prius. I do not understand this as the Prius is not an expensive car to purchase. They list it as a specialty car. The mid-size car I would be renting is similiar in purchase price to the Prius so I am not sure why they are charging 4 times the amount unless they are just doing it because they can. I am likely to buy a Prius soon but certainly would like to drive one for a week first. I might try the dealerships that rent cars.
